Rodrick – Plasticine model.

I created a 30cm plasticine model which was inspired by my personal character, I tend to only ever create in 2d (pen and paper). In the process of creating, I came across a few set backs for example the plasticine has to heavy to support itself, it was sensitive to touch and sticky when handled for long periods of time. I managed to work through the problems and create a self standing model (using cotton bud sticks as the skeleton structure) which can easily be adjusted for movement in the body.

My intention for creating a large scale model was to go out into derelict areas and take pictures and quick sketches of the model in vary positions. To create a different scale perspective, without the use of people in my work.
